The Nurse Manager at Open Fertility plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success and efficiency of our clinical operations. This position is responsible for the oversight of clinical and regulatory processes, training and coaching new employees, and monitoring key performance indicators. The Nurse Manager must ensure that protocols are understood and followed and that all clinical staff are properly trained and licensed.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily clinical operations, interfacing with various departments such as providers, operations, lab operations, compliance, and more.
- Oversee the nursing team, patient navigators, medical assistants, and patient coordinators, including laboratory and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) operations, in collaboration with the Medical and Laboratory Directors.
- Foster a collaborative and healthy team environment.
- Address and resolve patient concerns and escalations in a timely manner.
- Manage daily schedules, PTO, and timecard approvals for nursing and patient support staff.
- Ensure compliance with provider schedules to enhance patient experience and ensure billing and regulatory compliance.
- Coach and develop clinical employees across various roles.
- Collaborate effectively with medical directors and providers during practice operations.
- Oversee the implementation and adherence to all protocols and policies.
- Coordinate and develop training programs with relevant departments.
- Monitor and report potential regulatory issues or deficiencies in collaboration with the Compliance Officer.
- Investigate and report compliance-related complaints to leadership.
- Perform other tasks related to clinical and nursing operations as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- Master’s degree in nursing, business administration, public health, health admin or related field preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse in Colorado (RN)/(BSN), may be asked to obtain additional state licensing based on business necessity
- ACLS Certification Required
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a directly related field (charge nurse, nurse supervisor, nurse manager)
- Ability to work with senior leadership
- Fertility healthcare experience preferred
Employment Type
This is a full-time, exempt, onsite position requiring early hours, rotational weekends and holidays, and participation in the after-hours on-call rotation.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
