- Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to support team growth and development.
- Ensure the teams have the resources, tools, and support needed to deliver on their goals.
- Define and drive the technical strategy and architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the development and implementation of engineering best practices, coding standards, and processes.
- Ensure the quality, scalability, and security of the solutions delivered by the teams.
- Work closely with product management and other stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and prioritize work across teams to meet project deadlines and business goals.
- Track progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Product, Design, and Operations, to ensure cohesive and effective product development.
- Evolve the roadmap to meet anticipated future requirements and infrastructure needs.
- Facilitate communication between engineering teams and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment and addressing any concerns.
- Drive the recruitment process to attract and retain top engineering talent.
- Develop onboarding programs and continuous learning opportunities to ensure team members' professional growth.
- Create a diverse and inclusive work environment where all team members feel valued and supported.
- Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Provide regular updates and reports on the progress, challenges, and successes of engineering initiatives.

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing and scaling engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, tools, and technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent leadership, mentorship, and team-building abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
"The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,200 - $256,300.
