Your Role

The Senior Manager, Medical Affairs will be the center of O Positiv’s medical authority brand marketing. This person will be comfortable working to grow brand adoption amongst OB/GYNs, medical providers, and other health authorities. They will translate O Positiv’s clinicals and science into public-ready marketing materials, nurture the brand’s relationship with healthcare providers, and leverage O Positiv’s medical authority to increase the public’s brand trust and drive HCP recommendation. The role reports to O Positiv’s Head of Brand and works closely with O Positiv’s product strategy and product R&D teams, as well as the full teams for brand and marketing. 

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and charismatic, familiar with working with HCPs and their needs. They will be someone comfortable digging into science and clinicals and turning them into marketing materials, talking to HCPs, growing a business’s footprint with a medical audience, and leveraging medical programs to build brand authority.

Ideal background may include time developing marketing materials for a pharmaceutical or medical device sales team, ideally for OB/GYNs.

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Run O Positiv’s medical affairs relationship management with OB/GYNs and other HCPs
• Drive adoption of HCPs who recommend O Positiv products to their patients
• Create materials to educate doctors on O Positiv’s product efficacy
• Sample and spread collateral that aids HCP and patient adoption
• Manage, triage, validate, and nurture inbound HCP relationships
• Manage high-scale medical activations at conferences or other events/activations
• Own O Positiv’s Medical Advisory Board, working with our HCPs to guide marketing and product development deliverables 
• Create and syndicate high quality medical content for all marketing and sales channels
• Run insights work and surveys for and about HCPs and the brand’s medical authority and presence

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience:
• 2+ years running medical marketing for US-based HCPs, ideally OB/GYNs, with pharmaceuticals, medical devices, supplements, or other health products
• 1-2 years with spreadsheet analytics 
• Experience presenting to executive leadership

• Interpersonal:
• Charismatic with comfort meeting and working with hundreds of diverse HCPs
• Highly collaborative working with diverse internal stakeholders
• Excellent presentation skills, like at a booth at a medical conference

• Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:
• Must be comfortable with intermediate Excel and spreadsheet skills
• Science-loving with excitement to translate clinical stats into public-ready documents

Hours and Compensation

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $140,000- $160,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.

• Position will be based out of Santa Monica, Los Angeles - in person (Mon-Thurs in office/Friday remote)
