ABOUT THE OPERATIONS TEAM 

Orchestra’s Operations team is comprised of over 30 experts who specialize in IT, legal, general operations, and office management. The Operations team supports the rapid growth of the firm by proactively identifying operational efficiencies and building the systems and infrastructure to scale sustainably.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Orchestra is seeking an Office Manager responsible for the day-to-day health, functionality, and experience of our 42,000 sqft office. This is a dedicated, on-site role focused on ensuring smooth office operations, reliable facilities support, and a consistent in-office experience for employees and guests. Working closely with the front desk and facilities teams, this role serves as a primary point of accountability for office management and facilities coordination, helping the office scale sustainably as headcount and usage continue to grow. 

Role location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office, 5 days per week. 

ACCOUNTABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

As an Office Manager with the Orchestra Operations team, you will…

  • Own daily office operations, ensuring the space is organized, functional, and well-supported
  • Manage shared spaces, storage areas, and supply levels to support evolving office needs
  • Coordinate office setups, resets, and transitions related to growth and on-site events
  • Serve as a point of contact for office-related questions, issues, and requests
  • Support a positive, professional in-office experience for employees and visitors
  • Provide backup coverage when the Facilities Manager or First Impressions Coordinator/Receptionist is out or focused on other priorities
  • Coordinate with vendors, building management, and service providers as needed
  • Identify and proactively address facilities issues before they escalate
  • Support hands-on facilities work as required to keep the office running smoothly

Essential skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in office management, facilities management, or workplace operations
  • Experience supporting a large, active office environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable with hands-on work and proactive problem-solving
  • Clear communicator who can work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and building partners
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable being a visible on-site presence

WORKING AT ORCHESTRA

Salary (commensurate with experience and skills): $80,000 - $90,000
