Position: Solutions Representative (SR) / Sales Leader

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Tulsa, OK

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Solutions Representative who can easily navigate the mechanical trade industry. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and building strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, boilers, chillers, and equipment maintenance.

As a Solutions Representative/Sales Leader, you will:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while attracting new ones
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to other sales staff members
  • Sell all JMS services to increase revenue and meet annual sales goals
  • Account Management: Grow revenue for assigned customers and acquire new accounts for additional commissions
  • Sales Leadership: Direct the Tulsa branch sales team, assigning leads, tracking RFQs/bid projects, and delivering training for optimal sales performance
  • Collaborate closely with the Oklahoma City sales team and Branch Manager to align strategies and drive revenue growth

Expectations:

  • Quote Plan & Spec work independently, develop solutions for specific projects
  • Generate and manage RFQs while supporting sales representatives and estimators
  • Complete OSHA 10 training within 90 days and participate in weekly safety lessons

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years proven experience in sales / business development in the commercial HVAC, electrical, construction, boilers, chillers, or plumbing industry required.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex mechanical systems and provide accurate estimates.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and management.
  • A proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for the industry. Must have a customer-centric approach and the ability to build lasting relationships.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: Starting at $75,000 per year plus Commission: Earn additional commissions through a tiered pay plan based on performance and sold work. Transportation: Company-issued vehicle with a fuel card. Dress Code: Relaxed office atmosphere, company-branded apparel available. Training: JMS covers tuition, travel, hotel, and meals for approved training programs. Paid Time Off: 80 hours of annual PTO + six paid federal holidays.
