The Sr. Project Manager will utilize a wide variety of technical experience, medical device capital equipment experience, and project management expertise to work with cross functional project teams that are focused on the delivery of strategic hardware change initiatives for the company’s console and consumable products. The Sr. Project Manager develops, defines and executes project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables and identifies needed resources for projects and programs. Major duties will include leading key projects including but not limited to building the project plan, assessing project resourcing and budgeting and providing regular communication/updates regarding the status of the project(s).
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Develops, monitors, and controls project/program schedules, scope and budget/resources.
- Works closely with engineering, finance and supply chain teams to understand project proposals, goals and implementation plans in order to ensure desired project outcomes
- Manages project associated risks including prioritization, escalation and resolution of the identified risks.
- Guides project team(s) on prioritization, schedule and strategy questions
- Leads core team meetings to drive project progress and maintain accurate project plans
- Establishes strong, cross-functional and cross-business relationships that encourage horizontal thinking and collaboration.
- Being an effective facilitator, leader and coach.
- Develops and provides project updates for sponsors and leadership as required.

- Develops technical knowledge of the company’s products to better guide project execution

- Own change management within projects, formulate change management strategies and lead others to rapidly adapt to changing conditions or unexpected obstacles
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience leading Projects requiring Design Control.
- Experience managing 3 - 5 projects concurrently
- Experience managing projects involving the bring-up of new injection molding and metal fabrication processes
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management
- Outstanding written and interpersonal communication including the presentation of complex projects to various customer and stakeholder groups at all levels.
- Ability to look ahead and anticipate future opportunities and challenges.
- Ability to balance complex priorities and competing stakeholder needs with composure.
- Able to respectfully represent a strong position without damaging long-term relationships.
- Able to influence across multiple business functions and organization levels.
- Ability to make timely decisions in the absence of complete information and under tight deadlines and pressure
- Strong customer focus and commercial intuition.
- MS Project (or similar), Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Advanced English (95%+ Written & Spoken).
- Excellent communication and organization skills
Desired Qualifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- Experience leading design change projects in a regulated industry
- Working experience in manufacturing, machining or electronic industry
- Basic understanding of statistical methods.
- Experience with Agile or similar document control system.
- PPM, Smartsheet & Power BI.
