Position Overview 

The Trade Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring full compliance with international trade regulations across North America operations, with a strong focus on Mexico–U.S. cross border requirements, including Annex 24 systems management, CTPAT security standards, and OEA certification requirements. 

This role supports import/export operations while serving as a key compliance control point for customs documentation, audit readiness, and regulatory adherence. The ideal candidate combines strong knowledge of trade compliance frameworks with operational logistics experience, ensuring efficient and compliant movement of goods across borders. 

The position requires high attention to detail, strong analytical capability, and the ability to work closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, internal stakeholders, and government trade programs. 

 

 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities 

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable international trade regulations, including USMCA, Mexican Customs Law, VAT Certification (IVA) U.S. Customs regulations, and other applicable authorities.  
  • Maintain and support compliance with Annex 24 system requirements, ensuring accurate and timely control of inventory records, imports, exports, and reconciliation processes in coordination with IMMEX operations.  
  • Support and maintain compliance with CTPAT security criteria, including supply chain security procedures, documentation controls, and partner compliance validation.  
  • Support and maintain OEA certification requirements, ensuring adherence to authorized economic operator standards and audit readiness.  
  • Assist in internal and external audits related to trade compliance programs (Annex 24, CTPAT, OEA, customs audits).  
  •  Support additional activities, as assigned. 

Required Qualifications.   

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or trade compliance roles. 
  • Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs compliance, and trade agreements (USMCA).  
  • Experience with trade documentation.  
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).  
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.  
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in HTS Codes, logistics or trade compliance are a plus.  
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.  

 

Desired Qualifications  

  • Education: Advanced degree or specialization in International Trade, Logistics, or Supply Chain.  
  • Experience with automated routing systems and multi-location inventory management.  
  • Experience in last-mile delivery operations.
