Junior Strategic Finance Analyst
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Strategic Finance Analyst with 0-3 years of experience in corporate finance advisory, investment analysis and related fields to support our Strategic Finance team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong finance and investment analysis background or interest therein, a keen interest in technology and innovation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop financial modelling, data analysis, and presentation skills while contributing to broader strategic initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and maintaining financial models to support strategic decision-making, including forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Support the preparation of investor and board presentations, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and strategic alignment
- Support in investment processes including future fundraising and M&A
- Conduct data analysis to inform pricing strategies, product feasibility and other key business decisions
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyse financial and operational data
- Utilise Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint to create and present financial insights and reports
- Assist in ad-hoc financial projects as required by the Strategic Finance team
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Investment Management, Financial Management, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, financial & investment analysis, or a related field. Studying towards CFA will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI and PowerPoint as a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive and innovative mindset with a sense of urgency
- Interest in technology and innovation, with the ability to adapt to new tools and systems
