About the role:
Pacvue is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate FP&A team. This highly visible role will gain invaluable experience into the company’s business & operations and have a large impact within a growing Finance organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accurate and timely financial reporting, complex data analysis and forecasting, as well as experience leveraging and enhancing financial tools. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can multi-task, prioritize projects, and roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of monthly financial reports to key stakeholders, comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, provide explanations for discrepancies, and offer actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with business partners in the budgeting and re-forecasting process including preparation of deliverables for executive and board reporting.
- Optimize the financial planning tool by identifying and implementing process efficiencies, such as automated reporting, management dashboards, KPI tracking.
- Partner with HR to ensure we have timely and accurate workforce data by regularly performing audits and reconciliations between the HR system and finance planning tool.
- Work closely with IT and engineering to track, analyze, and forecast cloud spending.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, with a focus on reporting, variance analysis, and efficiency with financial planning tools (e.g. Pigment, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems (e.g. NetSuite, or similar).
- Experience driving efficiency in financial reporting process through automation.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and present findings clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with major cloud providers like AWS and cloud cost management.
- Master’s degree or CPA/CFA is a plus
- SQL experience a plus
