About the role: 

We are seeking a dynamic, ambitious, and forward-thinking VP of FP&A who will be a crucial partner to the CFO and the executive leadership team during a period of rapid growth. This is a hands-on, high impact role for a leader who will be at the forefront of shaping our company’s future. This leader will enable efficient growth and operational excellence by translating analytical insights into strategic guidance, disciplined capital deployment, and value creation. You will lead the build-out of a world-class FP&A team and a high-performance financial engine that can support our business as we scale. 

This role can be remote or in-person at one of Pacvue offices in Chicago, NY, LA, or Seattle. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead Pacvue’s FP&A function, including forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and performance analytics. 
  • Build and scale small but highly capable FP&A team, mentoring talent and building robust processes to support a high-growth business. 
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CFO and executive team to provide insights, recommendations, operationalize strategic initiatives that drive both revenue growth and margin expansion. 
  • Own the operating model and key financial dashboards, KPIs, and board-level reporting to support transparency and decision-making. 
  • Partner with the go-to-market teams to provide analysis and insights that accelerate growth. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, balancing operational finance discipline with forward-looking strategic finance. 
  • Close partnership with our accounting team and brings a deep understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, and internal controls, to enabling accurate financial reporting and credibility with investors, auditors, and the board. 
  • Support capital markets activities and M&A diligence and integration. 

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles in FP&A or strategic finance within a high-growth technology company, preferably B2B SaaS. 
  • Proven track record scaling high-growth companies, preferably with exposure to over $300m in revenue and IPO readiness. 
  • Experience working directly with Private Equity or Growth Equity investors, including board-level presentation and value-creation planning. 
  • Deep expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analytics. 
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for execution who can turn strategy into operational excellence. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale a high-performing FP&A team. 
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills including regular engagement with c-suite, board members, and investors. 
  • Excellent cross-functional partnership skills, especially working with GTM, product and operations to support growth initiatives. Experience with M&A evaluation and integration preferred.
