Location & Hours: This role will be hired remotely and expected to work business hours at parity with an EST full-time employee. 

 

Objective

The EnergySage Quote specialist positions will be responsible for creating revenue based on performance of building high-quality solar quotes and proposals across all serviceable Palmetto geographies. The EnergySage Quote specialist will also be responsible for facilitating seamless and efficient transition of conversations to our inside sales advisor team generated through the quotes created through this position.   

 

This role will play a critical role in driving key operational metrics, as well as focusing heavily on achievement of key company goals for Gross Mercantile Value (GMV) and Revenue.

 

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth through the EnergySage platform utilizing both internal tools within the EnergySage platform as well as custom design proposals through Palmetto’s design platform. 
  • Manage engagement in an efficient manner supporting a fluid customer experience. 
  • Stay up to date on all Palmetto products, services, and pricing
  • Understand the sales members who we are setting appointments for so that proper expectations are set
  • Have an understanding of Market and Customer needs
  • Flag areas of bottlenecks or improvements to team manager for process improvement

 

Tactical Responsibilities

  • Generate quality quick quotes through the EnergySage platform and custom proposals as needed in accordance with established SOP. 
  • Respond efficiently to all applicable engagements in accordance with established service level agreements documented in EnergySage SOP. 
  • Foster advisor collaboration to plug in at the point of applicable engagement fostering seamless transition. 
  • Send weekly bulk-message to prior-quoted prospects for up to 4 engagements post-quote or formal resolution. 
  • Become a subject matter expert within the EnergySage platform to identify quick-quote eligible leads v. leads requiring a formal custom design. 
  • Becomes well informed with Palmetto resources inclusive of the Sales Cheat Sheet and DTC Pricing Sheet to ensure edu. materials are well understood across all EPC markets. 
  • Be proficient within Palmetto’s Salesforce platform to ensure SOPs are followed around lead creation, opportunity conversion, appointment set-up applicable to Advisor engagement. 
  • Be proficient in Palmetto’s custom solar design tool to build quality custom designs when applicable. 
  • Be prepared to discuss feedback and trends associated with customer and advisor engagement. 
  • Log all feedback and notes in Salesforce when necessary 
  • Open & close leads and correctly update status of leads in Salesforce
  • Overly communicative with Advisor Sales teammates to ensure fluid customer experience. 
  • Follow the golden rule “if it isn’t logged properly, it never happened”

Experience Needed

  • 1 to 2 years of solar industry experience, specifically within the sales, design, or quoting process. 
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment
  • Customer service mindset
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (G Suite)
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Spanish speaker is a plus
