generating the most useful, ethical, and risk-aware data for next-generation AI.

What You'll Get To Do:

● Drive program-level annotation goals across multiple projects and domains, ensuring alignment with
strategic objectives and evolving needs.
● Develop best practices for annotation; mentor team members to ensure high-quality, consistent results.
● Translate evolving product and engineering needs into clear, executable annotation tasks aligned with
human-centered AI principles.
● Define project scope, establish quality standards, oversee review frameworks, and manage timelines to
maintain consistent, high-quality annotations.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve annotation tools, workflows, and operational efficiency.
● Guide data strategies and provide insights that inform product decisions, including the use of synthetic data,
to address gaps and support Responsible AI practices.
● Perform hands-on annotation for complex or sensitive tasks when needed, ensuring milestones and quality
standards are consistently met.
● Surface patterns found, identify emerging data needs, and advise on data priorities and product decisions.
● Design and implement end-to-end annotation processes supporting long-term sustainability, data reusability,
scalability, and ethical AI development.

What You’ll Bring:

● Minimum of 3 years of experience in data annotation or operations, with a focus on leadership
responsibilities.
● Linguistics background, specializing in language patterns and conversational dynamics for model training.
● Deep knowledge of annotation strategies, taxonomy best practices, and quality control methods.
● Proficiency in authoring documentation, creating task guidelines, and synthesizing insights for strategic
decision-making.
● Demonstrated success in aligning data initiatives with product and engineering goals.
● Excellent communication skills, with experience guiding diverse teams through edge cases and evolving
task instructions.
● Familiarity with agentic systems, LLMs, or ML model training pipelines.
● Clear understanding of how high-quality data supports Responsible AI outcomes and enhances user
experiences.
● Ability to apply critical thinking to ambiguous or complex scenarios while following structured guidelines.
● Detail-oriented, committed to precision, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
● Hands-on experience with annotation tools (e.g., LabelStudio, Sheets), project management platforms (e.g.,
Jira), and basic scripting languages (e.g., Python, R).
● Collaborative approach to problem-solving, with a track record of bringing people together to meet shared
goals.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
