Purpose of Position:
There is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join Pantheon’s Transformation Office. The Transformation Office partners across the organization to define the strategic transformation vision and roadmap, drive implementation of initiatives (including engagement & partnership with key stakeholders) and consistently delivers high-quality execution of change.
This Project Manager will lead transformation initiatives end-to-end including defining the strategy and scope, owning the detailed planning and leading the design, implementation and transition to BAU. To enable success, collaborating globally across functions (including Investment Teams, Client Services, Legal, Finance, Technology and Operations), effectively communicating and partnering with third parties will be a key component of this role.
This Project Manager will partner within other Transformation Office Project & Programme Managers to leverage lessons learned, manage interdependencies and ensure thoughtful coordination across the transformation roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
The Project Manager is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:
- Development and maintain robust project plans, associated artefacts & KPIs in order to effectively deliver to plan
- Lead respective project governance forums (e.g. working groups, workshops, planning sessions) to facilitate effective decisioning, escalation and engagement of key stakeholders
- Diligently manage project budgets
- Work in partnership across the organization to develop business cases and facilitate prioritization of initiatives
- Effectively manage the deployment of new systems/applications/tools/products/processes through comprehensive communications & training with all impacted stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and Pantheon policy (including reporting compliance risks and maintaining appropriate standards of conduct)
Knowledge and Experience Required:
Functional
- Experience in leading transformation initiatives in financial services
- Robust and accurate project plans & reporting to ensure transparency on projects’ critical paths, key risks, issues and dependencies
- Track record in effectively engaging and partnering across the organization
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbally), including the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise presentations to enable decisioning
- A team player who is comfortable interacting with staff at all levels, including senior management
- Thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment and can nimbly adapt to new and changing priorities
