Purpose of the Position

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing Pantheon’s digital presence across all online channels, ensuring the firm’s brand, content, and campaigns effectively engage key audiences and support business development objectives.

This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, covering website management, SEO, paid media, analytics, email marketing, and social media. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a data-driven mindset, and experience managing digital campaigns within a professional services or financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Trend Monitoring

  • Track social media trends, competitor activity, and relevant industry conversations to inform Pantheon’s digital strategy.
  • Monitor media mentions, hashtags, and key influencers in the private markets space.
  • Proactively suggest new content ideas and formats to enhance engagement.

Digital Strategy & Campaign Management

  • Develop and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns that support brand visibility, lead generation, and client engagement objectives.
  • Collaborate with the wider Marketing and Communications teams to align digital activity with corporate messaging, product positioning, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and performance metrics for all digital campaigns to ensure efficiency and measurable ROI.

SEO & Website Management

  • Oversee website content, structure, and functionality to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Implement SEO strategies to increase search visibility and website traffic across priority regions and content categories.
  • Manage and update content on Pantheon’s website using WordPress or similar CMS platforms, maintaining consistency in tone and design.
  • Monitor website analytics and provide insights and recommendations for ongoing improvement.

PPC & Paid Media

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms).
  • Manage budgets, keyword strategies, and performance tracking to maximize campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with agency partners and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with brand objectives and compliance standards.

Analytics & Conversion Optimization

  • Monitor and report on digital performance using Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and other analytics tools.
  • Analyze campaign performance, website traffic, and conversion data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
  • Recommend improvements to digital user journeys and landing pages to enhance engagement and conversion rates.

Email Marketing

  • Develop and manage targeted email campaigns using Pantheon’s CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Dotdigital or similar).
  • Segment and maintain email distribution lists, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Report on campaign effectiveness and continuously test and refine content, design, and delivery strategies.

Social Media Management

  • Oversee Pantheon’s corporate LinkedIn presence, ensuring professional and consistent representation of the brand.
  • Coordinate with the Social Media Executive on posting schedules, content development, and audience engagement.
  • Evaluate performance metrics and adjust strategy to enhance reach and impact.

Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Demonstrable experience in digital marketing, ideally within financial services, private markets, or a professional B2B environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of SEO, PPC, Google Analytics, and campaign management.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred) and basic HTML editing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage digital budgets and optimize ROI.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Dotdigital, Mailchimp, or HubSpot).
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on execution.
