This individual will work hands-on monitoring the crops, ensure accurate reports of the crops' health and wellness are relayed to management, and implement IPM strategies designated by the IPM department.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Oversee the facility’s Integrated Pest Management program to ensure safe and compliant application of state-approved pesticides, beneficial insects, and biocontrol agents.
- Responsible for the elimination and control of pests and substances that can impact crop health and yield.
- Coordinate closely with Cultivation management team to adjust treatment programs to precisely target pests when they emerge; solicits feedback to align on department goals.
- Create, disseminate, and track completion of work orders for chemical mixing and application.
- Ensure a safe work environment through ensuring all team members receive training on standard operating procedures, follow all PPE requirements when fulfilling work orders, and posting signage on areas receiving treatments.
- Manages routine cleaning and maintenance of all equipment.
- Performs routine irrigation inspection and filter replacement.
- Complies with PADOH spray regulations and spray logs.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING
- Age 21 or over (Required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Required)
- Pesticide Applicator Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of being hired
- 6 months experience in commercial cultivation, agriculture, or another related field
- Proficient with measurements
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Three (3) months IPM experience
- Landscape, nursery, or growing operations experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk as needed
- Ability to bend at the waist, kneel, crouch to access equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Ability to wear Tyvek suit during certain applications where temperatures can reach up to 90°degrees
- Close visual acuity needed for viewing screens and fine print
- Exposure to bright light where eye protection is required
- Exposure to organic nutrients and cleaning chemicals that require use of gloves
- Exposure to cannabis odor
- Exposure to skin contact with plants, to which some individuals may be allergic
- Exposure to moderate heat and humidity
