Location: This is a remote/hybrid opportunity seeking candidates residing in Southeast Florida. Ideal candidates reside in the Fort Lauderdale to Miami area.

The ability to travel 15%-30% of the time our retail, production, and market locations is required.

IN A NUTSHELL…

 As the Senior Creative Manager of Marketing, you will lead the concepting, development, and execution of creative assets across all markets and brands within the Parallel portfolio. You are responsible for guiding brand identity, elevating creative standards, managing the creative workflow, and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across digital, retail, packaging, and other owned channels.

You'll oversee internal creative staff and external partners/contractors to bring campaigns, product launches, promotions, and storytelling to life in a way that excites customers and differentiates our brands in competitive and highly regulated cannabis markets.

This role requires expert-level creativity, strong brand instincts, exceptional executional leadership, and the ability to balance innovation with compliance and operational practicality. You will thrive if you can think strategically while rolling up your sleeves to get work done.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Creative Leadership & Brand Stewardship

  • Serve as the creative lead and brand voice for all Parallel retail and product brands.
  • Evolve, protect, and enforce brand identity, guidelines, and storytelling frameworks across all markets.
  • Translate strategic business goals into compelling creative concepts for advertising, retail, digital content, packaging, and experiential activations.

Campaign & Asset Development

  • Lead the creative development of omnichannel campaigns, including cross-market product launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns, performance marketing, and brand storytelling.
  • Oversee copy, design, photography, video, and digital assets to ensure alignment to brand vision and campaign objectives.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing Director, Market Leaders, Retail, Commercialization, and E-commerce teams to ensure creative effectively drives revenue, awareness, and customer engagement.

Workflow, Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Manage the end-to-end creative production workflow and resource allocation for all markets.
  • Build project plans, set realistic timelines, manage expectations, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with compliance/regulatory partners to ensure all creative meets stringent cannabis marketing regulations by state.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external creative partners.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, copywriters, production artists, and freelancers.
  • Provide clear direction, actionable feedback, and development coaching.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, excellence, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.

Data-Informed Creative Optimization

  • Leverage performance metrics, consumer insights, and market data to optimize creative decisions and validate effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Managers for A/B testing, customer insight integration, and innovation opportunities.

Industry & Market Insight

  • Understand industry trends, consumer behavior, and cultural shifts in cannabis, wellness, CPG, and retail.
  • Stay informed of competitor creative strategies and leverage insights to keep our brand experiences fresh and differentiated.
  • Adapt creative approaches to the unique realities of each market (MA, FL, TX).

 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING

  • 6–10 years of creative, brand, or content leadership experience, preferably in retail, CPG, wellness, or regulated industries.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in digital, brand, and retail creative work.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary creative teams (design, copy, production).
  • Expert proficiency in creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and best practices.
  • Experience working with compliance-heavy or regulated product categories preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
  • Cannabis, pharmaceutical, or regulatory experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Age 21 or over (Industry Requirement)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Industry Requirement)
  • Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Industry Requirement)

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

  • Graphic Design
  • Marketing
  • Advertising
  • Communications
  • Fine Arts
  • Digital Media
  • Visual Design
  • Brand/Creative Strategy or related field

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel: 15–30% to retail, production, and market locations.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50–75% of the time.
  • Ability to move within office and retail environments as needed.
  • Constant use of computer and office equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
  • Frequent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
