Regional Vice President, Sales - Arizona

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Senior Vice President (SVP), the Regional Vice President (RVP), an individual contributor within sales, will be responsible for identifying and securing new business for Pareto Health in the Phoenix, Arizona territory. The RVP leverages existing relationships with Insurance Brokers in the health and ancillary benefits space, to secure qualified meetings with prospective clients (small to mid-size employers).
The ideal candidate is a proactive, confident, self-starter that thrives in competitive situations and is determined to exceed targeted goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, educate and develop strong consultant partner relationships with insurance brokers and employee benefits advisors
- Assist consultants with the identification and education of good prospective employers
- Mastery of Pareto’s cost containment programs and their application for consultants and prospective employers
- Develops strong relationships with members of Pareto’s underwriting, market development, and marketing teams
- Drive the understanding of large and complex risk management programs
- Create and execute a regional sales plan that will support the successful execution of sales goals
Requires Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in the self-insured, self-funded or stop-loss market
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM applications
- Must possess strong negotiating skills and excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- This position is REMOTE but requires residence in Arizona with frequent local travel required
