
Chief of Staff

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief of Staff will work to streamline strategic initiatives and communicate objectives across the organization. The Chief of Staff will be an advisor and strategic partner to the business, working to develop strategies that meet organizational goals and advance Pareto’s mission. The Chief of Staff will service as a thought partner and work with leaders to create shared context, drive clarity and appropriately key areas of focus. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business consulting and operations, coupled with a passion for aligning teams with the company’s mission and core values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of solutions for the organization’s most pressing and complex challenges, ensuring absolute alignment with business objectives
- Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in the formation and execution of the organization’s strategic plans, with a focus on enhancing cross-functional coordination, scalability, efficiency, and organizational growth.
- Partner with Pareto Management team to build and maintain high functioning teams, with a focus on Pareto’s core values and operating behaviors.
- Serve as a thought partner on cross functional operational and strategic topics including but not limited to; areas of operational improvement, internal and external communications, stakeholder management and management team facilitation.
- Develop senior executive-ready communications and presentations that clearly outline strategic priorities.
- Manage the rhythm of business within the Management team, ensuring they are focused on the right topics at the right time both optimizing within the week and looking many months out from a planning perspective.
- Develop and build on relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations and help define new operational strategies by working with CEO and other executives on special projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7-15 years of business consulting experience with a focus on operational strategy and planning.
- 2+ years of experience in management consulting and 2+ years of experience in an internal role focused on business operations planning and execution.
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences.
- High degree of adaptability and resilience, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment and respond to rapidly changing business conditions
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work across teams
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and data analysis tools such as Tableau, Excel
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, while consistently delivering high-quality results

- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
