Technical Project Manager

Job Summary
PatientPoint is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of point-of-care technology solutions. This role focuses on patient engagement and healthcare technology, requiring a project lead who can drive complex technical programs across multiple teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software delivery, adept at managing release processes and cross-team dependencies across core platform engineering, data & analytics, and product teams.

Success in this role demands the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, navigating ambiguity and competing priorities with confidence. You should be equally comfortable shaping and executing high-level strategic initiatives as you are rolling up your sleeves to tackle hands-on challenges.

We’re looking for someone who can distinguish between what’s urgent and what’s important, chart the best course forward from multiple options, earn the trust of stakeholders, and enhance the efficiency of our cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and drive cross-functional collaboration, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technology solutions to ensure successful production releases.
  • Partner with teams to refine backlogs, translating business requirements into clear technical specifications, and defining and executing roadmaps in collaboration with product, design, and engineering.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, proactively managing interdependencies across product and platform teams, mitigating risks, and ensuring clear, effective communication across the business.
  • Optimize release processes, governance, and operational efficiencies by working closely with engineering.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that drive better product outcomes and enhance team effectiveness.
  • Advocate for software delivery best practices, leveraging a product-led framework and agile methodologies, while championing team health and performance.
  • Facilitate engagement and drive OKR alignment, setting milestones that synchronize cross-functional dependencies with strategic business goals and ensuring visibility across the organization.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions while mentoring teams, fostering agile adoption, and coaching others to accelerate performance and delivery excellence.

What We Need

  • 3–5+ years of experience in software development and end-to-end program execution, support spanning multiple product and engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional programs with interdependencies, establishing processes from the ground up and coordinating release schedules.
  • Track record of managing technology projects with multiple integrations, including Salesforce, databases, cloud infrastructure, and microservices.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical and functional specifications, ensuring alignment and updates for engineering teams.
  • Hands-on experience with agile and iterative development methodologies, program management frameworks, and reporting techniques.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance software delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), including JQL (Jira Query Language) for advanced issue tracking, reporting, and workflow optimization.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience—degree not required).
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or PMP certification.
  • Prior experience in software development, testing, or technical product management.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with OKRs and Agile performance tracking.
  • Experience in the content delivery systems, digital ad space.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences, audiences at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities, fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
