Sr. Sales Engineer, Partnerships
Team Description
As a Partnership Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in the success of Pendo’s channel program. You will work closely with the VP of Global Partnerships, Director of Solution Partners and Partner Development Managers (PDMs) to build and maintain relationships with solutions partners, affiliates and marketplaces. This role will focus on use cases for both product development and digital adoption.
This role will focus primarily on assisting PDMs in establishing and maintaining relationships with:
- Global and Regional SIs, advisory and consulting firms, MSPs and Dev Shops which service our ICP and can benefit from positioning Pendo as an integral part of their services, refer prospective customers and deliver enablement and services to our customers
- PE and VC firms with portfolio companies who are target Pendo customers
- Strategic alliances with hyperscalers like Salesforce and Google Cloud marketplaces
Role Responsibilities
- Partner with PDMs to uncover and define value drivers and associated benefits for partners and their customers
- Educate prospective partners on how Pendo’s solution can be applied to their clients and customers challenges
- Develop use cases and requirements for potential Pendo integrations, and collaborate with our product team
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations, technical deep dives and run proof of value/tech exercises
- Enable partner GTM teams with materials and talk tracks on how to position Pendo with their clients and customers
- Collaborate with PDMs and marketing to provide partner and/or marketplace assets and messaging
- Assist on partner-led opportunities
- Provide value, product and technical expertise to our broader partnership org as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years in a pre-sales or similar customer-facing role focused on large enterprise and Fortune 500 accounts
- Experience supporting service delivery partners and/or strategic alliances such as Salesforce and Google Cloud Marketplace
- Working knowledge of web (HTML, CSS, Javascript, REST APIs) technologies either in a customer-focused role or as a developer
- Excellent presentation and product demonstration skills adaptable to both executives and technical buyers
- Willingness to travel

Compensation
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in the United States is $205,000 - $250,000 OTE. (70/30 split)
Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
