Deal Desk Manager
Team Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deal Desk Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our global sales organization in analyzing, structuring, and executing deals to drive business growth and profitability. You will collaborate closely with sales, finance, legal, and other cross-functional teams to ensure deal accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company objectives.
Role Responsibilities
- Supporting the global Sales Organization in deal execution on a daily basis.
- Evaluation and review of all contracts for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to our policies
- Provide guidance and support on contract negotiations internally, including: deal structure, discounting guidance, order processing, etc.
- Ensuring approvals for non-standard deals are properly documented, escalated to the appropriate approval levels, and resolved within a reasonable timeframe.
- Drive best practices and enablement to increase sales effectiveness via structured deal reviews and checkpoints, supported by standard business practices and policies, and proper enablement around these
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in Sales, Legal, Finance, Accounting, Pricing & Packaging and other key teams across the company
- Leading additional Sales Operations/Deal Desk projects and initiatives
- Seek out ways to make our policies and processes more efficient.
- Self-motivated, attention to detail, and curious
- Provide training and guidance to the sales team regarding deal desk related policies and processes
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in Deal Desk at a SaaS company
- Experience in dealing with cross-functional deal/contract management across Sales, Finance and Legal
- Strong problem solving skills along with ability to demonstrate practical judgment
- Exceptionally strong communication skills, including experience effectively communicating with senior management
- Willing to work in a highly demanding and results-oriented team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / G-Suite
- Understanding of revenue recognition principles and GAAP.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce based quote-to-order processes and Salesforce CPQ
- Experience with complex contract negotiations and deal structure
- Bachelor’s degree

Compensation
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in the following location is:
San Francisco Bay Area, CA - $98,000 - $123,000
Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
