The Role
You will play a critical role in supporting the growth of our sales organization by developing, refining, and executing strategies to maximize efficiency and drive revenue. You will work closely with Sales Leadership to streamline processes, manage sales data, and ensure our sales team has the tools and insights they need to hit their targets. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in sales or business development, with a deep understanding of how sales organizations operate. This is an opportunity to directly impact our growth and scale in a high-growth environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Sales Operations Leadership: Lead the design, hands-on execution, and optimization of the sales operations function. Act as a strategic partner to Sales Leadership in scaling our go-to-market strategy.
- Process Development: Establish, document, and improve sales processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across the sales team. Identify bottlenecks and gaps and recommend actionable solutions.
- Tech Stack Management: Own the administration and optimization of Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy, customization, and integration with other tools. Assess and implement new technologies that drive sales productivity and scalability.
- Data & Analytics: Develop and manage performance dashboards to track key metrics like pipeline health, win rates, and revenue growth. Analyze data to generate insights and recommend changes to improve sales effectiveness.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Support the Head of Sales in revenue forecasting by providing accurate and timely reports, identifying trends, and advising on adjustments to targets or strategies.
- Sales Enablement: Help equip the sales team with the tools, training, and resources they need to be successful, including managing documentation and sales collateral.
- Compensation & Incentive Programs: Work with finance and sales leadership to design and manage commission structures and incentive programs that align with company goals.
What We Look For
- 8+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or a similar role in a high-growth tech company, with a track record of success in building and optimizing sales infrastructure.
- Previous experience as a salesperson, Account Executive (AE), or in business development is strongly preferred.
- You understand the challenges sales teams face and can create solutions that drive performance.
- Expertise with Salesforce (certifications a plus) and proven ability to configure and customize the platform to meet evolving business needs.
- Bonus points: experience with additional sales tech tools (Gong, Clari, Salesloft, etc.)
- Experience implementing and optimizing sales technology (e.g., CRM, sales engagement tools, forecasting tools).
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for turning data into actionable insights.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity, prioritize competing demands and execute multiple projects.
- Demonstrated ability to roll up your sleeves and get things done while also thinking strategically about long-term needs and growth opportunities to scale the team as we grow.
- Located in either SF or DC, willing to come into the office in a hybrid capacity.
Salary Range: $175,000 - $215,000 Annually + Benefits + Equity (if applicable) + Bonus (if applicable)
