Role
As the first brand designer at Peregrine, you’ll play a vital role in shaping and elevating the Peregrine brand in close collaboration with leadership and the marketing team. You will design and produce deliverables for internal and external audiences.
The ideal candidate has the ability to think systematically, strategically articulate design decisions and iterate quickly. You'll own the entire communication and brand design process—from high-level brand strategy to executing production assets. You should have broad experience working on a variety of projects with multiple partners and on tight timelines.
About you
- You will elevate Peregrine's brand in partnership with the leadership and marketing teams, while being a hands-on designer who can effectively communicate concepts and design direction
- Deliver compelling visual narratives, cohesive design systems, and impactful marketing campaigns that resonate with our audience
- Lead brand expressions, advertising campaigns, and industry events across a wide range of mediums such as print, ads, web, and motion
- Ability to craft compelling verbal and written narratives, articulating a vision that aligns the team toward a shared goal
- Work in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment—partnering with marketing to engage our audience, internal operations to ensure high-quality implementation, and designers to develop and expand various design systems
- Oversee the work of external teams in creative strategy, execution, and production
- Grow the design culture and processes within the company and inspire others through excellence
What we look for
- 8+ years of experience in communications and brand design*
- A portfolio of work that demonstrates product, branding, communication design experience
- Experience developing visual identity systems including typography, color palettes, illustrations, and iconography
- Expertise with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Excellence in creative direction, tactical execution, and building design systems
- Effective and empathetic written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex ideas through clear and elegant designs
- A passion for mentoring designers to support their growth and develop their craft, while also embracing the opportunity to learn and grow alongside them
- Attention to detail and commitment to perfection—down to the last pixel

Salary Range: $115,000 - $175,000 Annually + Benefits + Equity (if applicable) + Bonus (if applicable)
