
Technical Recruiting Lead

We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiting Lead to oversee a small but growing engineering recruiting function. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as both an exceptional people manager and full cycle recruiter, with expertise in growing and mentoring teammates, working with demanding yet collaborative stakeholders, sourcing, screening, and hiring top-tier technical talent at a high growth startup.
Responsibilities
- Manage a small team and act as a player coach
- Handle a demanding req load while coaching a small team of recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators
- Responsible for managing the entire recruitment process from start to finish for engineering, product, design and some business roles
- Design and implement effective recruitment strategies to identify, attract, assess and bring in exceptional technical candidates
- Be creative through sourcing, advertising, social media, and networking events to identify potential candidates
- Collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders and candidates
- Directly handle leadership candidates and be a skilled, strategic closer
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience managing recruiters
- 4+ years of proven experience as a full cycle technical recruiter within the tech industry
- Startup or very fast growth company experience
- Strong understanding of technical roles and requirements, with the ability to assess candidates' technical skills effectively
- Proficiency in using various sourcing tools and techniques, including social media recruiting and Boolean search
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders effectively
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, roles and candidates simultaneously
- Hands-on experience with Greenhouse, Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.
- Proactive and comfortable with ambiguity
The cash compensation range for this role is $175,000 - $220,000.
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
