POSITION TITLE: Intern, Talent Solutions

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA

REPORTS TO: Site Director

 

Intern eager to learn multiple skills by working in numerous Career Development & Talent Solutions functionalities. The Professional Development/Talent Solutions Intern job description requires the candidate to be eager, receptive, and excited to learn. They should be good-natured and willing to get along with the team. 

Requirements: 

  • Studying a degree related to Business Marketing or Business Management is preferred
  • A receptive attitude towards business-related intern duties, working hours, and internal databases. 
  • Work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Understand CONFIDENTIALITY/PRIVACY of Learner files and PS-Atlanta local work environment/guidelines. 

Professional Development Responsibilities: 

  • To post Career Development workshops on learner accessed boards/platforms (Hubspot, Discord, Slack channels) 
  • At the start of each cohort, email the VITAL STATS Google Docs form to capture Learner information for employer partner engagement and job placement 
  • Work with Talent Solutions to help schedule Mock Interviews and follow up with Employers/Employer Partners to ensure that they have the information.. 
  • To touch base with each Graduate a month after graduation to identify employment and/or schedule them for a ‘Group Alum’ workshop/ Lunch w/Alumni Team. 
  • RECORD ATTENDANCE in the Canvas database and report incidences to senior management.
  • To assist with any/all PD events/workshops as Co-host and employ a very hands on
  • To UPLOAD RESUMES and ICPs to Salesforce prior to one week after cohort graduates. 
  • Set up new LEARNER digital and hard copy files (Original resume, Final Resume and ICP for Business Solutions use. 
  • Suggest and record/document Process improvements to existing processes.
  • Maintain a well-organized and efficient digital storage system for LEARNER files. 

Talent Solutions Responsibilities: 

  • Organize and lead employer networking events, informational sessions, and industry panels to connect graduates with hiring companies. 
  • Coordinate employer site visits and job shadowing opportunities to enhance graduates’ understanding of industry expectations. 
  • Leverage labor market trends and employer insights to refine job placement strategies and expand employer networks. 
  • Experience in meeting and exceeding business development goals to ensure job attainment quotas are met.
  • Monitor and manage student outcome and placement data in Per Scholas Salesforce database as  well as up-and-out metrics for internal and client reporting

For this role there is no financial compensation, however it can be used for school credits.
