Business/Data Analyst Intern - Spring 2026
Internship Summary
Are you looking for an internship that provides real life experience?
Phoenix Contact’s IMA AI Corporate Management Team is looking for a Business/Data Analyst to assist with data analysis in cross-functional teams.
Our Spring interns work part time. The intern has the possibility to continue the internship into Summer and Fall 2026.
What does a typical day look like?
On-site day: Meet with Product Managers or AEP team to review data asks for the week. Pull Salesforce reports, clean datasets, prepare Excel or Power BI dashboards. Join a stand-up meeting with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Marketing). Work on pricing or customer segmentation projects using ZoomInfo & internal data. Build presentation-ready visuals for leadership.
Remote day: Deep work: data mining, dashboard building, AI-assisted analysis. Weekly sync via Teams for progress check-ins. Prepare slides summarizing trends and insights. Some details of projects: Salesforce Reporting & Analytics Opportunities Industries / Markets PDNs/PCNs linked to customer trends Manual lead nurturing analysis Data Cleansing / Reporting Streamlining. Pricing Analysis (ground‑up if needed) ZoomInfo data integration for customer acquisition insights Cross Master data cleanup Website Master Data cleanup (Esprit data gaps analysis). Support PM dashboard analysis (margin, PdFI, etc.).

Must-Have Qualifications
- IT, Marketing, AI related Major
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database fundamentals
- Experience using AI productivity tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
- Coursework in: Data Visualization, Statistical Modeling, Predictive Analytics, Information Systems,
- Must be a current college student
Essential Job Functions
- Look at a computer screen for extended periods of time (up to 4 hours)
- Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time (2-4 hours at a time)
- Commute to Middletown, PA office
- Ontime and regular attendance
