As we expand our footprint in India, we are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who is ready to take our brand and community presence to the next level.


The Role


As the Senior Marketing Manager for India, you will be the primary driver of our regional growth. This is a hands-on role designed for a marketer who enjoys the mix of strategic planning and tactical execution. You will be responsible for building a strong brand presence, nurturing our developer community, and most importantly, creating a predictable pipeline of interest for our sales team.
You will act as the local marketing lead, working in close partnership with our global Digital Marketing, PR, and Content teams to ensure our global vision is executed with local relevance and precision.


Key Responsibilities
Demand Generation & Pipeline Growth
• Pipeline Ownership: Design and execute integrated marketing programs (webinars, workshops, and digital campaigns) specifically aimed at generating high-quality leads and building a robust sales pipeline.
• Sales Alignment: Work as a strategic partner to the India Sales and Business Development teams to ensure marketing activities are directly supporting regional revenue goals.
• Funnel Optimization: Monitor the journey from community engagement to sales-ready opportunities, ensuring no prospect is left behind.
Flagship Events & Brand Experience
• Brand Conferences: Lead the end-to-end strategy and execution of our signature brand conferences in India. You must have a proven track record of running large-scale, professional events from the ground up.
• Field Marketing: Manage our presence at key industry trade shows and host intimate, high-touch executive roundtables that build deep relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Full-Stack Execution: From venue sourcing and vendor management to on-site logistics and lead capture, you will own the details that make an event successful.
Community Engagement & Growth
• Developer Advocacy: Build and nurture the TiDB community in India. You will be our "boots on the ground," engaging with local user groups, developers, and architects to foster an authentic brand connection.
• Ecosystem Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with local tech communities and partners to expand TiDB’s reach and influence within the Indian tech landscape.
Strategic Collaboration
• Digital & PR: Partner with our Global Digital Marketing team to provide local insights for paid media and social strategies. You will also work with our PR team and local agencies to surface compelling stories and increase our media share-of-voice in India.
• Content Localization: Ensure that our whitepapers, case studies, and messaging resonate with the nuances of the Indian market.


Qualifications


• MNC Pedigree: 5–10 years of experience in B2B technology marketing, preferably within a global MNC (Cloud, SaaS, or Infrastructure). You understand how to operate within a global framework while maintaining local agility.
• Event Excellence: Direct, hands-on experience in planning and executing flagship brand conferences and large-scale developer events.
• Growth Mindset: A strong focus on lead generation and pipeline contribution. You are comfortable being measured by the impact your work has on the business.
• The "Builder" Spirit: You are a senior professional who is still happy to roll up your sleeves. Whether it's drafting copy, managing a vendor, or hosting a meetup, you take pride in the quality of the execution.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can translate complex technical value into clear, engaging messages for both developers and executives.
