USA - Denver, CO - Hybrid

About Ping Identity:

At Ping Identity, we believe in making digital experiences both secure and seamless for all users, without compromise. We call this digital freedom. And it's not just something we provide our customers. It's something that inspires our company. People don't come here to join a culture that's built on digital freedom. They come to cultivate it.

Our intelligent, cloud identity platform lets people shop, work, bank, and interact wherever and however they want. Without friction. Without fear.

While protecting digital identities is at the core of our technology, protecting individual identities is at the core of our culture. We champion every identity. One of our core values, Respect Individuality, reminds us to celebrate differences so you are empowered to bring your authentic self to work.

We're headquartered in Denver, Colorado and we have offices and employees around the globe. We serve the largest, most demanding enterprises worldwide, including more than half of the Fortune 100. At Ping Identity, we're changing the way people and businesses think about cybersecurity, digital experiences, and identity and access management.

As a Senior Project Manager in Ping Identity’s Business Transformation Office (BTO), you’ll lead complex technology project—including AI-enabled transformation—while focusing your time and the project team’s time on high-value priorities while deprioritizing lower-value work amid pressure to do more, faster.  Working closely with stakeholders from Business, IT, Engineering, and Data teams, you will help to clarify outcomes, map current- and future-state workflows, surface system, data, and security dependencies, and coordinate solution development through design, build, testing, deployment, and adoption.

This hybrid role is based in Denver, Colorado, and requires strong accountability, cross-functional leadership, and a proactive approach to delivering high-impact outcomes.  Reporting to the Director of Business Transformation Delivery, you will align technical delivery to business priorities, establish measurable outcomes and value measures, and help sponsors make timely scope, sequencing, and capacity decisions.

You will lead technical project delivery and business transformation initiatives, sometimes representing progress against company priorities to executive leadership.  You will help identify where AI and other technology create business value, shape feasible solution options with the right business and technical partners, and support responsible implementation and adoption efforts.

You Will:

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional technology and transformation initiatives (e.g., sales process improvement), aligning owners, milestones, and capacity. Track related work owned by other teams as dependencies; provide project support only at the owning team’s request.
  • Translate business outcomes and stakeholder needs into an executable project plan with clear scope, requirements, acceptance criteria, and documented technical, data, security, process, and change dependencies.
  • Partner with Product Managers, own project execution, planning, governance, dependencies, risks, and delivery; align with their ownership of product direction, roadmap, prioritization, and solution definition.
  • Lead AI transformation from process redesign through adoption; connect AI experiences to data, integrations, and systems of work; agree success measures with sponsors, track business value, and guide follow-on investment.
  • Align business and technical stakeholders on goals, ownership, dependencies, and decisions; adapt as priorities shift, clear blockers, manage critical paths, escalate major conflicts early, and improve reusable delivery practices and tools.
  • When assigned as Solution Owner, facilitate solution design and integrate outputs from Business Analysts, Process Architect, and Technical Leads without replacing their specialist accountability.
  • Provide concise, audience-specific delivery updates; translate technical status, risks, dependencies, trade-offs, and business impact into executive recommendations, escalations, and clear decisions or decision requests. Communicate credibly across ELT, VP, and individual-contributor levels.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Denver-based hybrid role; in-office attendance on Tuesdays is required.
  • 5+ years in project or program management, delivering complex cross-functional technology initiatives or interdependent portfolios.
  • 3+ years in transformation, technology delivery, operations, or consulting; able to turn process needs into practical execution.
  • Experience leading complex projects involving AI/ML, data, analytics, automation, enterprise applications, or similar technologies.
  • Strong execution skills in scoping, requirements, integrated planning, risk and dependency management, change management, and outcome tracking.
  • Familiarity with AI development (e.g., model development, data labeling, or model monitoring) is a plus.
  • Understanding of responsible AI, data governance, privacy, security, and compliance in enterprise technology delivery.

You Have an Advantage If:

  • You have delivered projects in software, cloud, data, or enterprise-application environments and can connect business goals to technical dependencies.
  • You build trust with senior leaders, communicate candidly, navigate conflict, and influence across business and technology teams.
  • You have led cross-functional workstreams through technology, process, or AI/ML product delivery in a matrixed environment.
  • You can engage technical teams on architecture, integrations, data flows, model workflows, and system constraints without acting as the architect.
  • You actively integrate AI into your own workflows to accelerate delivery and outcomes across the initiatives you lead.
  • You hold a PMP or an Agile certification in product or project management.
  • You are comfortable with project and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Jira, or Lucidchart).
  • You are familiar with software delivery lifecycles and Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methods.
