Job Duties: Serve as a critical technical member of Pinterest’s Internal Identity and Access Management (IIAM) team responsible for critical production infrastructure that provides a foundational notion of Identity and strong authentication and authorization controls across Pinterest. Help chart Pinterest’s future identity and access control strategy. Design, implement, and maintain mission-critical software that will help Pinterest deliver robust IAM tooling to customers. Collaborate with a variety of teams on how to build performant and resilient AAA controls into various high-traffic services like our big data platform, databases, service mesh and other critical infrastructure components. Work with and mentor junior engineers on the IIAM team as well as receive mentorship from more senior engineers on the team. Full-time telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Golang; (2) Java; (3) large scale distributed system; (4) Terraform; (5) AWS; (6) Networking protocols; (7) Python; (8) Docker; (9) Kubernetes; (10) Gitlab CI/CD pipeline; and (11) REST API. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Full-time telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $185,000.00 - $244,872.00 per annum
