The Role:

As a Sr. Analyst I, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will play a strategic role in shaping the financial future of the organization. By owning the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, you will guide executive decision-making and uncover insights that drive profitability and operational efficiency. Your success will be measured by the accuracy and impact of your forecasts, the value of your business partnerships, and your ability to present actionable insights that influence high-level strategy.

What You Will Accomplish (KPIs):

  • Accurate Forecasting: Maintain sales and cost forecasts with ≥95% accuracy, directly supporting business planning across departments.
  • Process Optimization: Integrate financial planning software (Jedox) into at least 90% of FP&A functions within the first 6 months.
  • Executive Reporting: Deliver clear, actionable monthly reporting packages and presentations that shape executive and CEO-level decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Impact: Lead or contribute to at least 3 cross-functional projects per quarter focused on cost improvement, margin expansion, or process efficiency.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Build dashboards and analysis tools that result in at least 2 measurable business process enhancements per quarter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering: Build strong relationships with department leaders to drive profitability through insight and strategic support.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Support end-to-end financial planning cycles using Jedox; consolidate inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure timely executive-level delivery.
  • Sales Forecast Ownership: Manage monthly sales forecasts by country, partnering with BI, Sales, and Marketing to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Executive Reporting: Create and present monthly FP&A presentations to senior leaders and the CEO, including detailed decks and forecast narratives.
  • COGS & Inventory Analysis: Forecast COGS, analyze inventory metrics, and work closely with Corporate Accounting to manage inventory valuation and variance.
  • Data Visualization & Dashboards: Develop and maintain dashboards that bring clarity to complex financial trends and drive strategic action.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in reporting and forecasting processes, implement automation or new methodologies, and elevate the FP&A function.

Performance-Based Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field

Experience:

  • Minimum: 5 years in financial planning, analysis, or corporate finance
  • Preferred: 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience in a mid-to-large organization

Demonstrated Expertise:

  • Financial Modeling: Skilled in building and managing large, complex models that integrate data across business units
  • Forecast Accuracy: Known for producing highly accurate and actionable forecasts used in high-level decision-making
  • Business Insight: Ability to connect data with real-world operations to inform strategy and uncover opportunities

Required Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Jedox, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to executives
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
