ABOUT THE ROLE
PLTFRM is looking for a EVP Data & Insights to define and lead our enterprise data, analytics and insights strategy.
This is a highly visible, executive role with the opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up. You’ll bring together the data and insights capabilities that exist across PLTFRM today, define what best-in-class looks like for the future, and build the team, tools and strategy to get us there.
You’ll serve as the executive sponsor and face of data at PLTFRM, helping our teams and clients understand not just what the data says, but what to do with it. This leader will turn complex data into compelling stories, actionable insights and differentiated capabilities that drive growth for PLTFRM and the brands we serve.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
- Define and lead PLTFRM’s enterprise data, analytics and insights strategy, bringing together data from across the organization into a clear, scalable vision.
- Lead and develop the existing data team while determining the capabilities, structure and talent needed for the future.
- Establish PLTFRM’s strategy for how we collect, connect, analyze and activate data across our businesses.
- Build best-in-class reporting and analytics capabilities that give our teams and clients a clearer view of performance, opportunities and growth.
- Turn complex datasets into clear, compelling stories and actionable business recommendations for executives, clients and cross-functional teams.
- Serve as the executive sponsor and external face of PLTFRM’s data platform and capabilities.
- Partner extensively across Sales, Digital, Media, Category, Operations and client teams to embed data and insights into how we make decisions.
- Play a strategic, client-facing role in major pitches and RFPs, demonstrating how PLTFRM’s data and insights capabilities can create a competitive advantage and helping win significant new business.
- Identify opportunities to build, standardize and scale capabilities across PLTFRM
- Establish the roadmap for how data and insights can become an increasingly differentiated part of PLTFRM’s offering.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across enterprise data, analytics, category insights or related functions within a large, sophisticated consumer or retail organization.
- Deep understanding of the CPG and retail data ecosystem, including syndicated, retailer and first party data, and how those sources are used to drive category, commercial and growth decisions.
- Proven experience leading a sizable data/insights organization, ideally 20+ people, with the ability to build and scale teams.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into a commercial story that influences executive decisions and drives action.
- Strong understanding of the data and insights ecosystem supporting consumer brands and retailers.
- Experience partnering across commercial functions including Sales, Category, Digital, Media and Marketing.
- Executive presence and credibility with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong client-facing capabilities with experience supporting major pitches, presentations and new-business opportunities.
- A builder mentality. You’re energized by creating the strategy, structure and capabilities rather than inheriting something that is already fully built.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to operate both strategically and hands-on as the function grows.

- Comprehensive benefits package
- 401K + Company match
