eRetail Media Manager

Podean is a leading marketplace agency helping brands accelerate growth across Amazon, Walmart, Target, TikTok Shop, and other digital commerce platforms. We combine strategic expertise, data-driven insights, and creative innovation to deliver measurable business outcomes for our clients.

We're looking for an experienced Media Manager to own Amazon and Walmart media equally. This is a true split-focus role: half your time in Seller/Vendor Central and Amazon Ads, half in Walmart Connect. We want someone who knows both platforms deeply and can move between them without missing a beat.

What You'll Do

• Own day-to-day campaign management across Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect. Hands on keyboard, not just in strategy docs.
• Build and execute media strategies tailored to each platform's unique auction mechanics, shopper behavior, and ad inventory
• Be the main client contact on Amazon and Walmart media, translating performance data into clear recommendations and keeping stakeholders aligned
• Identify growth opportunities across both retailers, from new ad formats and targeting capabilities to organic and paid synergies
• Oversee analysts' work and provide coaching that actually builds their skills, not just gets the work done
• Develop test plans, strategic roadmaps, and risk/benefit analyses, and close the loop with results and next steps
• Apply data analysis and structured problem-solving to improve performance across both platforms simultaneously

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years hands-on managing Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect campaigns. Strong experience with both is required; this is not a role where one platform is an afterthought.
• Real fluency with platform-native tools and third-party software like Pacvue, Skai, Teikametrics, Perpetua, or similar
• Strong data skills: pivot tables, vlookups, and the ability to pull a story out of a messy performance report; Excel macros a plus
• Experience managing and developing people, not just doing the work yourself
• Clear, confident communication with clients and internal teams. You can explain a bid strategy change and a quarterly result in the same call without losing anyone.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where platform policies shift frequently and the answer isn't always in the playbook
