We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical People Ops Data Analyst to join our growing SaaS company in Guatemala. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in HR operations with strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis. This role will focus on analyzing HR data, generating insights, and supporting People Operations with strategic decision-making to drive the effectiveness of operations and initiatives, for both the HR and Recruiting teams.
Responsibilities:
- Data Management & Analysis: Collect, analyze, and manage HR and Recruitment-related data to provide actionable insights for workforce planning, retention, headcount tracking, turnover metrics, recruiting efficiency and capacity planning, and other reporting functions.
- Reporting & Automation: Develop and automate regular and ad-hoc People Ops reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making and communicate insights to stakeholders through our systems (Google Sheets, Sigma, and others).
- HR Process Support: Assist in People Ops operations, including onboarding, offboarding, performance management, engagement surveys, and compliance-related reporting.
- HR Metrics & Improvement: Track and analyze key People Ops metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, funnel rates, retention, engagement) and recommend improvements based on trends and insights.
- System Optimization & Collaboration: Support the implementation and optimization of People Ops systems and tools, collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance processes and drive data-driven decisions.
- Compliance & Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy, compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and assist with audit preparation and other compliance activities.
Requirements:
- A degree in HR, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in HR operations or People Analytics, ideally in a SaaS or tech industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Experience with HRIS and ATS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, Greenhouse).
- Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), Sigma experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large sets of data and translate findings into clear and actionable insights.
- High attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and integrity in all HR reports and dashboards.
- Ability to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to tackle complex HR challenges and offer data-driven solutions.
The candidate should be willing to work in the US Hours (9am - 5pm MT)
