Get to know the role

·        Job Title: Security Receptionist

·        Job Summary: This role is responsible for the safety and security of on-site company property and personnel by aiding visitors, vendors and guests at front desk locations.

·        FLSA Classification (US Only): Non-exempt

·        People Manager: No

 

What you’ll do

·        Welcome guests into the TPCi office. Determine nature and purpose of visit and assist with visitor check-in.

·        Secure premises and personnel while monitoring access points with surveillance equipment.

·        Provide credentials for employees, vendors, and visitors.

·        Sign for mail and documents. Screen packages and courier deliveries.

·        Maintain department calendar and scheduled meetings.

·        Screen incoming phone calls, department emails, in-person inquiries, and address customer concerns.

·        Organize and respond to employee service ticket requests.

·        Provide security support for corporate events and off-site meetings.

·        Respond to emergencies and incidents within TPCi areas. Contact department leadership, property management, and local agencies as directed.

·        Assist with administrative duties such as maintaining spreadsheets, system status reporting, incident and accident logs, as well as documentation of security department tasks.

·        Assist with the deployment and maintenance of security programs including policies, procedures, technical systems, and workforce training to maintain the safety and security of a corporate workplace.

 

What you’ll bring

·        One (1) to Two plus (2+) years of related experience.

·        Previous customer service experience preferred.

·        Experience with customer service and de-escalation skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.

·        Advanced working knowledge of computer-based access control and alarm systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

·        Knowledgeable of contemporary security and property protection techniques and methodologies.

·        Experience in responding to emergency situations, injuries, and incidents.

·        Experience utilizing closed circuit television (CCTV)/surveillance systems to monitor company areas.

·        Familiarity with documenting complex situations into articulated and detailed reports.

·        Previous experience taking quick, appropriate action in stressful, hostile, or dangerous situations.

·        The ability to remain calm in emergency situations and handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $23.32/hr - $27.98/hr. The full range is $23.32 - $35.58/hr. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
