- Job Title: Business Operations Associate, Project Coordinator/Art Approval
- Job Summary: The Business Operations Associate, Project Coordinator/Art Approval will coordinate cross-functional teams - internal and external - and supports the production team by managing workflows, schedules, and communication across departments to ensure projects are completed on time and delivered successfully. This position will also review character art assets in various mediums while ensuring an accurate representation of the brand and maintaining the highest level of quality possible. The position will support various Pokémon European business initiatives as well as contributing to globally coordinated projects.

What you’ll do
- Conduct reviews of character art assets against internal references to ensure an accurate representation of the brand.
- Provide project support together with Manager, Business Operations as assigned.
- Manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of creative asset reviews from initiation to delivery.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on schedule.
- Optimize workflows and implement process improvements for more efficient review and approval cycles.
- Facilitate clear communication across cross-functional teams and support alignment on priorities.
- Other duties including translations and liaising between TPC's Tokyo and TPCi's Bellevue office, and vendors as assigned.
What you’ll bring
- Three (3) to four (4) years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in art or related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.
- Near-native or fluent level language in Japanese (reading/writing/speaking) is required.
- Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communicator, with an ability to convey information in a clear and courteous manner appropriate for the audience (individual contributor to executive level).
- Excellent time management skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
- Ability to easily adapt to new situations, as well as to handle multiple competing priorities, while delivering on high-quality results and follow through.
- Knowledge of creative production workflows and asset management systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira), as well as Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between £45,000.00 - £53,200.00 per year. The full range is £45,000.00 - £67,000.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labour market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
