A day in the life:

As a Web Developer, you will lead the design, development, testing, and debugging of responsive web and mobile applications for the company. Using technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, you will translate user and business needs into functional and appealing solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test user interfaces for desktop and responsive websites.
  • Create and maintain reusable code and libraries for future projects.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
  • Innovate with emerging technologies to maintain the company’s technological edge.
  • Collaborate closely with leaders from other teams to ensure cohesion and quality in integrated solutions.

Role Requirements

  • Extensive experience and deep knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and front-end technologies such as ReactJS, Vue, Angular, NextJS or Nuxt, TypeScript, WebPack, Gulp, and SASS.
  • Proven experience in developing themes for Shopify or WordPress. (Plus)
  • Experience with service integrations (Web Services, CMS/Commerce systems, third-party APIs, etc.).
  • Ability to lead development projects and teams.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma and Zeplin.
  • Expertise in established development practices, such as code reviews, style guides, and pattern libraries.
  • Excellent command of version control (BitBucket/GitHub).

  • Code Deployment Frequency: At least bi-weekly deployments of new features or updates, increasing annual frequency by 5%.
  • Code Quality: Maintain a defect rate of less than 1% in new deployments.
  • Development Efficiency: Reduce the average time from feature start to completion by 10% annually.
  • Team and Stakeholder Satisfaction: Conduct regular assessments of satisfaction with implemented solutions.
  • Deadline Compliance: Complete at least 95% of projects within the agreed timeframe.
