Marketing Manager

PLI is searching for a Marketing professional to fill the role of Marketing Manager (responsibilities and qualifications are described below). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In conjunction with the Associate Director of Marketing, create, implement and lead multichannel marketing efforts in assigned product lines and practice area(s) and understand program and product performance to achieve budgetary goals, including segmenting to retail customers to help drive new business.
  • Understand and utilize key tools of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot for segmentation, and for building emails and landing pages.
  • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders across the organization, including program attorneys, publishing and membership staff to align on marketing efforts, budget-to-actual numbers, internal and external mailing lists, digital marketing opportunities, and more.
  • Create, maintain and edit CMS pages.
  • Write, edit and proofread promotional copy as required.
  • Develop creative sale and valued customer promotions to increase revenue throughout the year.
  • Gain an understanding of available information and bring a data-driven perspective to inform and guide marketing strategies.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on effectiveness of marketing initiatives to develop insights and make recommendations for future planning.
  • Ensure PLI brand guidelines are maintained and provide input on the look and feel of marketing vehicles to ensure strong alignment with our offering(s).
  • Adhere to deadlines to ensure that all campaigns are executed by scheduled date.
  • Communicate with third party resources to identify promotional opportunities and relationships as well as negotiate marketing partnerships for advertising/insertions/listings to promote PLI products.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years’ experience with multi-channel marketing (direct mail, email, digital marketing) in a business-to-business environment.
  • Knowledge of databases and list segmentation required as well as managing revenue and expense budgets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge or experience with marketing and AI technologies (such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Pardot, Marketo, Microsoft Copilot, etc.), as well as knowledge or experience working with a content management system.
  • Must have strong analytical and creative thinking skills.
  • Strong project management, time management and organizational skills with the ability to maintain and adhere to deadlines while juggling multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
  • Must be self-motivated, proactive and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

COMPENSATION RANGE FOR THIS POSITION

$85,000 - $95,000 per annum 

(Exact compensation offer may vary based on the candidate’s job-related skills and work experience.)
