Head of Patient Services
Location: This position may be performed remotely, but requires the flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
The Opportunity
We’re hiring an experienced, patient-first leader to build and oversee the Patient Services function for our emerging neurology portfolio. You will design and implement strategies that deliver exceptional patient support. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of healthcare systems and patient care models. You have a proven ability to build and scale patient-centric services. Initially focused on the US market, this role will expand to key international markets as the Praxis portfolio expands globally.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for patient services and support programs.
- Design and implement patient services infrastructure, including call centers, digital support systems, case management, and patient resource centers.
- Hire, train, mentor, and manage a dedicated patient services team, establishing a culture of empathy, efficiency, and excellence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate patient services into broader organizational objectives.
- Leverage patient insights and feedback to continuously improve programs and services.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness.
Qualifications and Key Success Factors
- 10+ years of experience within biotech/pharmaceutical patient services, including product launches.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams; strong ability to engage and motivate people and have the managerial courage to make and stand by difficult decisions.
- Innovative and disruptive mindset.
- Ability to see the big picture and bring a strong attention to detail while adept at both strategic planning and operations.
- Demonstrates a high level of intellectual curiosity, innovation and creative problem solving with an entrepreneurial spirit; can thrive in an Agile environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop important relationships that build trust and encourage diversity in all its forms.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion to deliver quality results.
- The physical and mental requirements of our roles include but are not limited to regular use of a computer, devices or other office equipment, clear communication, and occasional movement. To round out our world-class total rewards package, we provide annualized base salary compensation in the range listed below. Final salary range may be modified commensurate with job level, education, and experience.
Annualized Base Salary
$280,000 - $320,000 USD
