What You’ll Do: 

The Director of Solutions Packaging and Pricing will own the architecture of our solutions portfolio and the strategies that define how we price, package, and position our offerings in the market. This role is a strategic linchpin—ensuring our platform, products, tiers, and bundles are designed to maximize customer value, market competitiveness, and sustainable business growth.

You will lead the creation of compelling, data-driven pricing and packaging strategies that balance customer willingness to pay, competitive positioning, and profitability targets. Through deep market and competitive analysis, customer research, and cross-functional collaboration, you’ll define how project44 brings its value to market, enabling sales success, customer adoption, and long-term retention. This is a high-impact role that blends strategic vision with rigorous analytical execution, helping us scale effectively in the enterprise SaaS space.

Typical day-to-day tasks might include: 

  • Portfolio Strategy – Define and maintain the solutions portfolio architecture, including platform, product tiers, bundles, and add-ons.
  • Pricing Design – Develop and manage pricing models that optimize value capture, profitability, and market penetration.
  • Market Analysis – Conduct ongoing competitive and market intelligence to inform packaging and pricing decisions.
  • Customer Insights – Lead willingness-to-pay research and value perception studies to guide pricing strategy.
  • AI Agent Pricing – Create innovative pricing models for AI agents and agentic enterprise solutions.
  • Value Propositions – Craft compelling solution value narratives that resonate with enterprise customers.
  • Profitability Management – Ensure pricing meets targeted margins and cost-to-serve benchmarks.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment – Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to operationalize strategies.
  • Performance Tracking – Measure and optimize packaging and pricing performance using KPIs and market feedback.
  • Change Leadership – Drive organizational adoption of new pricing and packaging approaches.

What You'll Need (required): 

  • Strategic Thinking – Ability to define and execute long-term portfolio and pricing strategies.
  • Analytical Rigor – Strong quantitative skills to model, test, and refine pricing approaches.
  • Business Acumen – Deep understanding of enterprise SaaS economics, margin targets, and growth levers.
  • Customer Focus – Proven ability to align packaging with customer value and adoption drivers.
  • Communication – Skilled in creating clear, persuasive business cases for executive and field audiences.
  • Collaboration – Track record of working cross-functionally in complex, global organizations.
  • Decision-Making – Comfort with making data-driven trade-offs under ambiguity.

What You'll Need (preferred): 

  • SaaS Pricing – Experience pricing and packaging enterprise or B2B SaaS products.
  • Market Research – Expertise in customer willingness-to-pay and competitive pricing analysis, using conjoint analysis and other value research methodologies.
  • AI Agent Models – Expertise in pricing strategies for AI agents and agentic enterprise solutions.
  • Logistics Insight – Background in logistics, supply chain, or transportation technology.
  • Data Platforms – Experience with analytics-heavy or data-centric SaaS platforms.
  • Tiering & Bundling – History of designing product tiers, bundles, and usage-based pricing models.
  • Value-Based Pricing – Track record of building pricing around customer-perceived value.
  • Enterprise GTM – Familiarity with enterprise go-to-market motions and sales enablement.
