We're looking for a Head of Sales & GTM (m/f/d) - Germany to own the commercial build-out of one of Europe's largest untapped legal AI markets.
As Head of Sales & GTM, you take ownership of a market that's already in motion - team in place, first customers live, co-design partnerships signed with local law firms. Your job is to turn early traction into a scalable revenue engine and a proven playbook into German revenue - while owning outcomes end to end.

In this role, you’ll:
- Own the number. Every decision runs through one filter: does this accelerate ARR?
- Sell alongside your AEs. High-volume SMB motion with short cycles. You close deals yourself - not just manage others who do.
- Build pipeline from the phones. Cold calling is the primary outbound channel early on, supported by email sequences. You pick up the phone before you build the playbook.
- Run the sales routine. Standups, pipeline reviews, forecasting, 1:1s. CRM discipline from day one. Clean data, no exceptions.
- Lead and grow the team. Hire well, coach constantly, keep people sharp through the critical early months.
- Adapt the playbook for Germany. A proven motion exists. Translate it for the local market - don't copy it. Localize positioning, pricing, and messaging with the CRO.
- Be the face of the company. Events, panels, LinkedIn, partnership PR. You build the brand in market.
- Close the loop with HQ. Customer feedback, competitive signals, product gaps. Short loops. Speed wins.
Your Profile:
- 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with a verifiable track record of carrying and hitting quota.
- Sales leader who still sells. You've managed teams and run the routine (pipeline reviews, forecasts, coaching). But you're a closer first, manager second.
- Comfortable with high-volume SMB sales. This is not enterprise. You embrace velocity over big-ticket strategy.
- Hands-on outbound experience. You've personally cold-called and built pipeline - not just designed the playbook for others.
- New market or early-stage GTM experience. You've built traction from scratch in a new geography or product launch.
- German legal market knowledge is a strong plus. Experience selling into law firms or legal departments is highly desirable.
- CRM-native. Clean pipeline and rigorous forecasting are how you operate, not something you tolerate.
- Native German, fluent English.
- Humble and hungry. Openness and curiosity matter as much as ambition.
- Startup pace and shifting priorities energize you. You keep your team steady when things get hard.
Please note that this position is based in Berlin.
