About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive market awareness and user adoption of Prophecy’s agentic data prep and analysis platform. In this role, you will lead the charge in defining our value and educating our growing customer community.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will operate at the critical intersection of Product Management, Marketing, and Sales. Your work will directly impact our product messaging, marketing reach, and sales acceleration. This is a highly collaborative, roll-up-your sleeves and get a lot of things done position – leading both strategy and execution for most things product marketing related.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Strategy & Launches: Own product marketing for key segments of the platform, bringing products to market by leveraging a deep understanding of Prophecy, the competitive landscape, and customer needs. 
  • Craft Differentiated Messaging: Build clearly differentiated, value-based messaging, positioning, and marketing content that builds awareness and drives demand generation.
  • Lead AI-Driven Content Generation: Train and manage our proprietary PMM AI agent to develop meaningful content (including web copy, blogs, and white papers) with a human-in-the-loop oversight model.
  • Execute Event GTM Plans: Align with cross-functional stakeholders on goals and execute deliverables leading up to major milestones, including product launches and industry conferences.
  • Capture Customer Voice: Partner with customers to deeply understand how they use Prophecy and the corresponding business benefits.
  • Evangelize Success Stories: Amplify customer wins internally and externally through the development of customer profiles, presentations, and case studies.
  • Enable Sales Teams: Develop high impact sales enablement deliverables to shorten sales cycles and boost deal size. 
  • Support AR & Corporate Communications: Assist with analyst relations and corporate communications initiatives, including analyst briefings, press releases, and strategic announcements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in product marketing or adjacent roles (such as product management). Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically as a PMM for a B2B SaaS or data infrastructure company.
  • AI Fluency: Strong working knowledge of building AI agents and using advanced AI platforms (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Jasper) to assist with content development and drive output efficiency.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage C-level executives in meaningful business and technical conversations.
  • Data Industry Expert: Strong ecosystem understanding of the SaaS, data pipeline and data infrastructure space.
  • Executive Presence: Confident ability to effectively present the Prophecy narrative and core use cases to prospects, customers, industry analysts, and large audiences.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Seniority: Individual Contributor

Location: Bay Area, CA or Remote

Compensation: $170,000 - $220,000 (DOE)
