An exciting new opportunity has been made available for a Band 7 DBT Therapist to join our esteemed client’s dynamic team. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately. This vacancy offers competitive rates.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will contribute directly and indirectly to a psychologically based framework of understanding and care, benefiting all patients of the service across various settings and agencies serving the client group. You will ensure that all members of multidisciplinary teams have access to a psychologically based framework for understanding clients through the provision of advice, consultation, and the dissemination of psychological research and theory. Additionally, you will be involved in research, audit, and clinical governance tasks within the hospital, and provide line management to assistant psychologists as delegated by the lead psychologist.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Clinical/ Counselling Psychologist
  • Must be HCPC Registered
  • Desirable to deliver potential online groups
  • Desirable training in any trauma informed therapies (DBT-PE / DBT-PTSD / TF-CBT / EMDR)
