We are seeking an enthusiastic leader and software engineers to build a new team to build systems, tools and processes to accelerate innovation i.e. creating a developer experience which is fun and rewarding.
What You Will Be Doing
- Engineering Manager for Production Engineering team who will help to build, grow and lead a team developing and driving Engineering Productivity focus which includes common CI / DevOps Services, Infrastructure as Code, Developer Tools, Observability.
- Challenge Status-Quo and continue to look for opportunities to improve the process, tooling
- Collaborate across the entire engineering organisation to define test infrastructure and tools requirements by participating in product requirement & product design reviews.
- Define and execute on strategies for test driven development at scale
- Measure and drive a balance of efficiency and productivity improvements
- Provide technical direction and mentoring to the team and others to ensure product quality and on-time deliverables
- Define and refine Engineering Productivity metrics that provide visibility to “now” and drive teams’ goals.
What You Bring To The Team
- 8 plus years of relevant industry experience, with 3 plus years of technical hands-on leadership and people management experience
- Extensive experience in hiring, building and scaling up teams.
- Experience in the design, implementation and delivery of scalable build/test/release infrastructure
- Experience with developing automation frameworks and developer tools to increase developer and release velocity
- Experience with test driven development integrated with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with developing and shipping appliances is a plus
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
