About FASIM:
FASIM, or FlashArray Simulator, is the simulation platform at Pure Storage for automating large-scale testing, staging, and continuous integration of FlashArray products. By leveraging virtualization and automation, FASIM employs a critical role in development and testing workflows of Pure FlashArray-related products.

Role Description:
Take a critical role in evolving the FlashArray Simulator by ensuring reliable operation, swiftly triaging failures, and advancing automation (including image management and deployment pipelines). This position is ideal for engineers eager to strengthen platform quality and directly empower product teams worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and enhance the FlashArray Simulator testing platform
• Conduct hands-on failure analysis and high-priority incident triage
• Create and refine automation tools for infrastructure lifecycle management
• Collaborate with EMEA-based engineers to promote knowledge sharing and effective joint operations
• Drive best practices for operational quality within the simulator team

Required Qualifications:

• Expert in Python-based automation, scripting, and tooling
• Advanced Linux administration experience
• Experience with VMware virtualization and related infrastructure
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting
• Track record of successful collaboration on distributed teams
• ​​Initiative and communication skills for remote, cross-timezone teamwork
