THE ROLE
As the Engineering Manager for Fusion, you will lead a high-impact team dedicated to transforming enterprise storage through AI-driven automation. You will own the vision for workload placement frameworks, ensuring global storage infrastructure is optimized and balanced at scale. By bridging complex engineering with strategic product goals, you will collaborate with global talent in Silicon Valley and Prague to deliver a unified, visionary storage experience. Your mission is to scale a world-class engineering culture that prioritizes architectural integrity and rapid, reliable innovation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Drive Technical Excellence and Workload Placement Strategy: Lead the design and execution of critical features placement recommendation area, ensuring Fusion remains a market leader in the storage industry.
- Empower and Scale High-Performing Teams: Mentor and manage a team of software developers, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability while aligning individual career growth with Everpure’s ambitious technical milestones.
- Orchestrate End-to-End Product Delivery: Own the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for your team’s domain, utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver high-quality, customer-centric features on predictable cadences.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration for Business Impact: Partner closely with Product Management, QA, and Technical Writing to translate complex customer needs into technical requirements, ensuring seamless integration across block, file, and object protocols.
- Ensure Operational Rigor and Quality: Implement and champion Quality Assurance best practices to maintain high system availability and performance, balancing feature velocity with the rigorous demands of enterprise-grade storage.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Engineering Leadership: Experience leading and scaling software engineering teams through complex projects, with a focus on coaching, resource planning, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- SDLC Mastery: Deep expertise navigating all phases of the software development lifecycle and a history of delivering large-scale products to market using Agile frameworks.
- Strategic Communication: The ability to distill complex technical challenges into actionable plans and communicate those strategies effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: A commitment to the end-user experience, utilizing analytical thinking and robust quality methodologies to resolve technical issues before they impact the business.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
