THE ROLE

As the Manager of Enterprise Solutions Engineering, you will lead a powerhouse team of architects in Bangalore dedicated to proving the art of the possible on Pure’s data platform. You aren’t just managing tasks; you are orchestrating the creation of high-performance blueprints across AI, Cyber Resilience, and Cloud that our global sales teams and partners rely on to win. Partnering closely with leadership in Santa Clara, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering and market-ready solutions, ensuring our technology solves the world's most demanding data challenges.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Architect a High-Performance Culture: Lead, mentor, and scale a world-class team of Solutions Engineers, fostering a culture of high accountability and technical excellence where engineers are empowered to become industry-leading subject matter experts.

• Drive the Global Solutions Roadmap: Own the end-to-end execution of solution project charters—from initial concept to the delivery of customer-ready reference architectures and validated designs—ensuring every output provides hard evidence of value through rigorous benchmarking.

• Bridge Strategy and Execution: Translate high-level Go-To-Market (GTM) priorities into technical workstreams, managing the solutions lifecycle across AI infrastructure, database migrations, and ransomware recovery patterns.

• Enable Global Field Success: Partner with Product Management, Alliances, and Marketing to produce "field-ready" assets—including technical decks, whitepapers, and demo blueprints—that directly reduce sales friction and accelerate customer adoption.

• Optimize Innovation Labs: Oversee the automation and management of local lab assets, ensuring the team has the cutting-edge compute, network, and storage environments needed to simulate complex, real-world customer ecosystems.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Inspirational Technical Leadership: Proven ability to lead high-caliber engineering or solutions architecture teams, with a knack for coaching senior individual contributors and navigating complex, matrixed global organizations.

• Full-Stack Infrastructure Expertise: Deep technical fluency in at least two modern data domains—such as AI/MLOps infrastructure, Cyber Resilience/Data Protection, Enterprise Databases (SQL, Oracle, SAP), or Kubernetes/Cloud-native platforms.

• Strategic Program Delivery: A track record of turning ambiguous business requirements into concrete technical outcomes, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and stakeholders across different time zones.

• Technical Communication Mastery: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex architectural concepts into clear, persuasive documentation and presentations that resonate with both deep-dive engineers and C-suite executives.

• Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
