Hyperscale Product Engineer, Storage Systems
We’re in an unbelievably exciting area of tech and are fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry. Here, you lead with innovative thinking, grow along with us, and join the smartest team in the industry.
This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLE
As a Hyperscale Product Engineer, Storage Systems, you will serve as the technical bridge between design and global scale, ensuring our next-generation flash storage systems transition seamlessly from concept to exabyte-scale deployment. By driving manufacturing excellence and operational rigor, you enable the world’s largest cloud providers to rely on Everpure’s hardware for their most critical workloads. This position demands high-level collaboration with ODM partners and cross-functional engineering teams to solve complex integration challenges before they hit the data center floor.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Architect Manufacturing Ecosystems: Establish and scale ODM and CM production environments, ensuring manufacturing processes are optimized for the rapid volume ramps required by hyperscale customers.
- Drive DFx Strategy: Lead Design-for-Manufacturing, Test, and Quality initiatives to ensure system-level validation (L10/L11) is robust, cost-efficient, and perfectly integrated into partner test environments.
- Own Product Quality & Yield: Accountable for First Pass Yield (FPY) and DPPM targets, utilizing data-driven insights to diagnose complex integration issues and implement continuous improvement cycles across the factory and field.
- Lead Cross-Functional Execution: Synchronize efforts between Design, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve hardware bottlenecks, ensuring all hardware deliverables meet the rigorous performance and reliability standards of our hyperscale partners.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Hardware Scaling Expertise: Proven ability to lead the end-to-end journey of complex storage or server systems from NPI through high-volume production within ODM, JDM, or CM environments.
- System Integration Mastery: Hands-on technical proficiency in server bring-up and debugging, with the ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA) on sophisticated hardware-firmware interactions.
- Quality Systems Fluency: Deep understanding of manufacturing test methodologies and quality metrics, with a focus on delivering reliable hardware at massive scale.
- Collaborative Leadership: Strong communication skills to align internal stakeholders and external customers, with the agility to drive clear outcomes in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
