THE ROLE

The GTM BI team at Pure Storage supports Revenue Operations across pipeline, forecasting, seller performance, and executive reporting. As the business continues to scale, we are looking for a leader who can help modernize our BI development function, improve delivery execution, and strengthen the quality, consistency, and usability of analytics across the organization.

 

As Senior Manager, BI Solution Development, you will lead an India-based team of BI developers responsible for building scalable analytics and reporting solutions for internal customers across business and product lines. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical guidance. You will help set team direction, align work to business priorities, improve delivery quality, and guide the evolution of our data mart, dashboard, and analytics development practices.

 

This role requires strong technical depth in addition to delivery leadership. You should be able to guide architecture discussions, raise engineering standards, coach developers on modern BI and data practices, and inspire the team to help build the next generation of business intelligence at Pure.

 

You will partner closely with business stakeholders, BI analysts, systems teams, data teams, and shared service centers to translate complex requirements into well-governed, high-impact solutions. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead and develop an India-based team of senior and junior BI developers supporting GTM and Revenue Operations use cases
  • Set team direction, priorities, and delivery standards across analytics development, reporting, and dashboard solutions
  • Provide strong technical leadership across BI architecture, data modeling, dashboard design, and solution development
  • Partner with business stakeholders to align data, reporting, and analytics work with business priorities and decision-making needs
  • Guide the design and implementation of scalable BI solutions across pipeline, forecasting, seller performance, and executive reporting domains
  • Help shape data mart strategy, data governance, and reporting architecture in partnership with cross-functional leaders
  • Drive best practices across development, quality, documentation, and team operating processes
  • Work closely with shared service centers and global teams to build talent, strengthen collaboration, and scale delivery capacity
  • Mentor team members and support their growth through feedback, coaching, and career development
  • Collaborate with platforms, systems, and data teams to ensure data is accurate, available, and usable for analytics
  • Champion reporting trust, data quality, dashboard usability, and continuous improvement across the BI ecosystem
  • Establish delivery processes, prioritization frameworks, and operating rhythms that improve predictability, transparency, and stakeholder satisfaction across BI initiatives
  • Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate and implement next-generation analytics capabilities, including conversational BI, AI copilots, and agentic workflows that improve productivity and insight generation
  • Help advance data architecture, data mart design, and dashboard performance
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the {{OFFICE_LOCATION}} office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, data engineering, or related analytics solution development roles
  • 5+ years of people management experience leading BI, analytics, or data development teams
  • Strong expertise in SQL, Python, large-scale data environments, and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and dbt
  • Experience building or overseeing data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics solutions in enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of BI development practices, data architecture, data modeling, and reporting performance optimization
  • Experience with enterprise BI and visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to simplify complex ideas into clear business messaging
  • Experience balancing strategic planning with day-to-day delivery execution
  • Passion for data quality, reporting accuracy, and scalable analytics solutions
  • Ability to lead through collaboration, influence, and strong communication across technical and business teams

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in GTM, Sales, Revenue Operations, or forecasting analytics domains
  • Experience with Salesforce, Workday, Costpoint, SnapLogic, dbt, Alteryx, or related enterprise systems
  • Experience supporting globally distributed development teams or shared service centers
  • Experience modernizing data marts, dashboards, or analytics platforms
  • Experience implementing self-service analytics capabilities, including semantic layers, governed metrics, data catalogs, and business user enablement programs
  • Experience evaluating or implementing AI-powered analytics capabilities such as conversational BI, natural language querying, AI copilots, and agentic workflows to improve analytics productivity, insight discovery, and decision-making
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
