PVM, is actively seeking a highly motivated and technically adept Technical Program Manager with PMP and Scrum certifications. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' missions and ensuring the success of their projects. You will be expected to quickly upskill in understanding the Palantir Foundry Platform and the services PVM provides as a Palantir Services Channel Partner.
This role requires a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the ability to engage with engineering teams at a high level. You will support planning, reporting, and scrum ceremonies while ensuring efficiency and minimizing overhead. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will provide the necessary resources, tools, and support to deliver impactful outcomes. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will build strong relationships with customers, assess their needs, and align business objectives with strategic opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Understanding:
- Quickly gain proficiency in the Palantir Foundry Platform and PVM’s service offerings.
- Maintain a high-level understanding of technical discussions to support effective planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers and product managers to translate technical objectives into actionable program plans.
- Program Management:
- Manage all customer requirements and expectations as a cohesive system, ensuring comprehensive responses to changes.
- Control cost, schedule, and performance to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Facilitate, support, and oversee the PVM team to achieve outcomes aligned with customer goals.
- Evaluate progress, navigate scope complexity, and adapt strategies to maximize customer value and ensure team success.
- Manage release planning activities, ensuring alignment across teams and readiness for deployment.
- Scrum and Agile Practices:
- Lead and facilitate scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support backlog grooming and prioritization in collaboration with product managers.
- Ensure agile best practices are implemented without creating unnecessary overhead for engineering teams.
- Quality Control and Assurance:
- Oversee quality control and quality assurance processes to maintain high product standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define and enforce quality metrics.
- Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts, coordinating feedback and ensuring readiness for production releases.
- Mentorship and Team Support:
- Provide mentorship in partnership with managers and other project managers.
- Support the development of new project management templates and processes as required.
- Customer Success and Stakeholder Management:
- Manage customer satisfaction surveys and act on feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate customer onboarding activities in partnership with product managers when applicable.
- Quickly resolve customer issues and maintain a growth mindset to support renewal plans.
- Facilitate proposed out-of-scope solutions with engineering team support.
- Risk and Change Management:
- Monitor and control change, anticipating and aligning future resource needs for optimal project execution.
- Continually evaluate risk to maximize positive impacts while minimizing negative impacts.
- Financial and Performance Management:
- Maintain a focus on quality to meet objectives and align with customer requirements.
- Continually evaluate the financial health of account contracts, initiating changes as needed to maximize financial outcomes.
- Draft, send, and ensure timely payment of customer invoices.
Education:
- BS/BA or equivalent experience.
Tools:
- Experience with web-based project management tools: Azure DevOps, Asana, or Jira.
- Adept using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (Teams, Office, SharePoint).
- Nice to have experience with BambooHR, Harvest, Smartsheets.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.

Required Qualifications:
- PMP and Scrum certifications.
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to engage in high-level technical conversations and support planning without creating overhead.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a proactive mindset.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and scrum ceremonies.
- Strong customer success focus with the ability to manage satisfaction surveys and resolve issues promptly.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- ATO experience working with the federal government is highly desirable.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with the Palantir Foundry Platform.
- Proven ability to implement new processes and develop project management templates.
- Growth mindset and ability to facilitate out-of-scope solution discussions with engineering teams.
