Configuration Management Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced Configuration Management Specialist to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.
About the role:
As a Configuration Management Specialist, you will bundle, version, and maintain configuration items for software deployment across different environments. You will own deployment processes for multiple sites, understanding and recording the specifics of differing software builds while supporting configuration management of Infrastructure as Code for Kubernetes-based hardware stacks hosting mission applications. You will utilize automated deployment tools in a C2S environment and provide solutions for full stack deployment. This role involves interacting with teams across multiple functional areas including requirements, architecture, development, integration, test, platform, and infrastructure.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with Artifactory for artifact management
- Proficiency with GitLab for version control and CI/CD
- JIRA experience including creating releases, viewing open issues/bugs, generating release note reports based on tickets, and asset management
- Helm knowledge for configuration management and pulling charts
- SharePoint experience
- Confluence or equivalent collaboration tool proficiency
- Understanding of branching strategies and software release versioning
- Knowledge of automated deployment tools in C2S environments
- Experience with full stack solutions deployment
- DevSecOps or SecDevOps background preferred
- Full life cycle Agile development experience
Highly preferred:
- Experience with SonarQube for code quality analysis
- Xray testing tool experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Project, Visio, Excel)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively across multiple functional teams
- Passion for building enterprise mission applications
Clearance Requirements:
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
Work Type:
- Onsite in Dulles, VA
- May require up to 15% travel
Salary Range:
- $130,000 - $160,000
- The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
